The productions take place in Aalborg and in Copenhagen. DADIU will arrange accommodation and pay for travel to the productions.

DADIUs is a collaborative education with students from universities and art schools in all of Denmark. They participate in two productions lasting approx one month each. The current production is the last of the two. It starts on Feb 22nd and ends on March 26th .

 Each team consists of a project manager, a game designer, a game director, game programmers, visual designer, animators, cg artists and audio designers. Read more here: http://www.dadiu.dk/english/

The games are produced in the Unity engine.

In the past, DADIU’s games have been nominated for three awards at the Independent Games Festival taking place alongside Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. They have also won prizes at Nordisk Filmfestival and been selected for the PAX10.

För femte året i rad bjuder MEDIA Desk Danmark och den danska dataspelsskolan DADIU in branschen till ett seminarium i Köpenhamn den 19 november. Årets tema är ”Play for Free”.

Seminariet handlar om den ökande användningen av gratisspel på nätet och de affärsmöjligheter som öppnas av denna användning. En rad experter på området kommer att medverka och vi kommer bland annat få höra Teut Weidemann berätta om gratisspelens snabba utveckling. Ben Cousins från DICE EA presenterar arbetet bakom Battlefield Heroes och Catherine Warren kommer att lotsa oss genom den virtuella ekonomin.
